Bio
I grew up in a small town in mid-Michigan where I enjoyed regular trips to my local library and listening to Detroit Tiger games on the radio. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2003 with degrees in English literature and Asian Studies with a focus on Japan. In 2004, I moved to Japan to teach English. During my time in Japan, I became interested in health and obtained a yoga teaching certificate. I also made the acquaintance of Bridget Scott and began an informal study of shiatsu. In the spring of 2014, I moved to Minneapolis to attend CenterPoint Massage & Shiatsu School & Clinic. I have been practicing bodywork in the Twin Cities ever since. Interests I continue to enjoy trips to my local library and Detroit Tigers baseball on the radio, as well as camping, listening to music, tending to several bonsai trees, and practicing qi gong.
